1. What is Sleep Tracking?

Sleep tracking is a feature on your TAG Heuer Connected Watch Calibre E5 that helps you monitor your sleep. By clicking on the Bedtime Mode icon on your watch before you go to sleep, your watch records your sleep session, including how long you slept.

2. How do I use sleep tracking?

  1. Before going to bed, open the Control Center by pressing the bottom pusher of your watch, then click the moon icon to manually activate Bedtime Mode.
  2. Sleep with your watch on.
  3. In the morning, do a long press on the crown to exit Bedtime Mode.
  4. A notification will appear on your watch when your sleep session is ready after a few minutes.
  5. Open the TAG Heuer Connected app on your phone, ensure your watch is connected to view your sleep details.
Note: During sleep tracking, notifications and Low Power Mode are turned off, the screen is dimmed, and battery is saved so you can sleep undisturbed.

3. Where can I see my sleep data?

When your sleep session is ready, your watch will display a notification. Once synced with your TAG Heuer mobile app, you can see your sleep session in the app.
Android: Sleep details are in the Wellness tab of the TAG Heuer Connected app.
iOS: Sleep information appears in the Asleep card on top of the home tab.

4. What information will I see?

After your sleep session is recorded, you can review your sleep session history day-by-day in the TAG Heuer mobile app:

  • Total asleep: How many hours and minutes you slept.
  • Time in bed: How many hours and minutes you were in bed, awake or asleep.
  • Sleep stages: The breakdown of your sleep into Light, Deep, REM, and Awake periods.
  • Sleeping HR: Sleeping Heart Rate (lowest average heartbeats per minute during sleep).
  • HR Variability: Heart Rate Variability (HRV) measures the natural variations in timing between heartbeats during sleep.
  • Breath rate: Average number of breaths per minute during sleep.
  • SpO2: Blood oxygen saturation percentage during sleep.

5. What are the sleep phases?

Sleep is structured into distinct phases, each representing a different state we move through during the night:

  • Awake: Periods of wakefulness during your sleep cycle. Occasional awakenings are natural; frequent or prolonged periods may indicate disturbed sleep.
  • REM (Rapid Eye Movement): The active stage of sleep where dreams occur. The brain processes emotions, memory, and creativity.
  • Light: The stage where your body starts to slow down and your mind transitions into deeper rest.
  • Deep: The most restorative phase, crucial for muscle repair, memory consolidation, and energy for the next day.

6. Can I export my data to third-party apps?

Yes, simply connect your TAG Heuer mobile app to the following third-party apps in the Settings:
Android: Sleep data can be synced with Google Health Connect.
iOS: Sleep data will sync with Apple Health.

Note: Data imported from TAG Heuer into third-party applications is interpreted and processed using each app’s own algorithms. As a result, the information displayed may vary from one application to another.

7. Need more help?
